“Power's Big Easy”, by Personal Power, out of Val’s Cajun Queen, is the result of a breeding that I had planned for a long time. Easy was started by Billy Jackson of Jackson Stables. We showed him at the SSHBEA Fall Championship in 2001, and while he did not bring home a Blue he placed well. After the show we brought him home, gelded him and turned him out for the winter. 2002 was a slow year with limited shows as we were very busy with a sick foal during the spring and summer, and while he got his share of wins around this area we decided to try our luck in St Louis.

Easy got to strut his stuff at the FOSH (Friends Of Sound Horses) North American Pleasure Walking Horse Championship. Never shy at the entry booth, we tried Easy in the Spotted Saddle Horse classes, TWHBEA Trail Pleasure classes and Country Pleasure. Easy came home a Spotted Saddle Horse Champion, and we came home with some great new friends. We will be back in 2003. 2003 has started out bright and with great fun, Easy is helping the Spotted Mountain Horse show circuit get going in Kentucky, we are making new friends and enjoying showing with the UMH (United Mountain Horse) group.
