"Choctaw's Miss Rebel"
Blackie, by Go Boy's Choctaw, out of Raid's Dark Lady was J R's trusted trail/show horse for many years. Blackie has had 3 foals by Generator's Hurricane,
a wonderful filly named Rolex Blue who is living in Mass and is destined to be a Search and Rescue mount. A
beautiful chestnut colt with a winning overstride and a big head shake, he is with a family that enjoys trail riding and camping so he will have some busy summers ahead.
Blackie surprised everyone when she showed up at the KMSHA World Championship show in 2005. Blackie was barefoot and only 3 weeks after weaning but she was bored so we took her to the show to give her something to do. Blackie was 1st, 2nd and then 3rd in the World Championship Mares Country Trail Pleasure class, no small feat for a 19 year old broodmare!
Classy mares never forget how to show, when we called J R, (Glynn's
father) we could hear him tell Siller (Glynn's Mother) "See I told you that she was a good horse!"
2006 colt is a stunning Gold Champagne with a white nose and 4 white legs.
Blackie is in foal to Generator's Hurricane for a 2007 foal.
